Member-specific letter templates
Choose RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook, the group as a whole, or a letter that names all seven members.
Official mailing addresses, writing tips, envelope etiquette, and a free fan mail generator for all seven BTS members.
BTS fanmail is one of the most personal ways ARMY can reach the artists they love. A short letter, a small drawing, a few honest sentences. That is often all it takes to feel connected to seven people on the other side of the world.
But sending a letter is not the same as posting a comment. There are real addresses, real postal rules, and real staff who open the mail. This page explains the BTS fan mail address options, how to send fan mail to BTS safely, and how to write a fan letter to BTS that is worth reading. It also answers the question so many new fans ask: can you send letters to BTS at all?
The short answer is yes. The longer answer involves choosing between the official BTS mailing address and the Weverse fan post system, understanding what staff will and will not accept, and writing with the same respect you would use for a friend. Everything below is built around that idea.
Important note. This is an independent fan resource. It is not run by BTS, HYBE or BIGHIT MUSIC. Mailing policies and addresses can change, so always confirm the current BTS official fan mail details on official channels before you post anything.
Everything here is designed to help you send a letter that arrives, gets opened, and reads well.
Choose RM, Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook, the group as a whole, or a letter that names all seven members.
Add your name, your country and the occasion. The tool builds a clean, respectful fan letter you can copy, print or download.
Add hearts, purple, music notes and stars at the cursor position inside the letter. Nothing intrusive, nothing overdone.
Switch the whole page into Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, Hindi, Swahili and more. Fan letters cross borders, and so should the guide.
Read at midnight or at noon. The theme toggle remembers your choice and follows your device preference on the first visit.
Envelope format, return address rules, postage basics, and a short checklist of what never to include in a fan letter.
Choose a member or the whole group, pick a feeling, and the generator writes a first draft on letter paper. Tap the letter to edit it, and use the emoji button to add a small touch of feeling at the cursor.
Six steps from a blank page to a sealed envelope. Read them once before you write, and once again before you post.
This guide is written for anyone who wants to send a thoughtful letter, from a first-week ARMY to a long-time fan club organiser.
A fan letter is a small act with a long reach. It sits in a bag of mail, gets sorted by staff, and sometimes lands on a table in a rehearsal room. Most letters are never answered, and that is normal. The point is not a reply. The point is the kindness you put into the world on the way there.
Etiquette matters for practical reasons too. Letters that contain cash, food, gifts, or personal identification details are usually refused, and in some cases they create real problems for the people who have to handle them. Respecting those boundaries is part of what makes ARMY a community that artists can trust.
Weverse has changed the balance. Online fan letters are read faster, translated instantly and stored safely, which is why many fans now use both channels: a Weverse post for visibility, and a posted letter for the feeling of doing something real. Either way, the writing is the same. Be specific, be brief, and be kind.
Never include: money, gift cards, food, perishable items, original identification documents, private phone numbers, or anything that breaks your country's customs rules. Send words, not valuables.
BTS fanmail works best when it is simple. Find the current address, write one honest page, address the envelope carefully, and post it with the right stamp. That is the whole method, and it has not changed in years.
Use the generator above if you want a starting point, but let the finished letter sound like you. Staff read hundreds of letters, and the ones that stay in memory are almost always the ones that feel human. Take your time, keep it kind, and trust that the effort is worth it even without a reply.
The questions fans ask most about BTS fan mail, fan letter writing and the mailing address.
Yes. Fans can send physical letters to the official HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC mailing address, and can also publish fan letters on Weverse. Mail is screened by staff, so a personal reply is never guaranteed, but the letters do arrive.
The widely published address is HYBE (BIGHIT MUSIC), 42 Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Companies move and policies change, so confirm the current BTS mailing address on official BTS, BIGHIT MUSIC or Weverse channels on the day you post.
Use an international airmail envelope or a Global Forever stamp. Write the Korean address exactly as published, add your own return address in English, and complete any customs form your post office requires. Keep the envelope light, flat and free of anything that looks like a parcel.
Use India Post's international registered or speed post service for tracked delivery. Write the destination address in English, attach the correct international postage, and ask the counter staff to confirm the current rate to South Korea. Registered post gives you a receipt, which is useful if the letter matters to you.
Greet the member, say who you are and where you are writing from, share one specific song or moment that stayed with you, thank them for something concrete, and close politely. Keep it to one page. Specific beats poetic almost every time.
Members have spoken about reading fan messages, and some letters are shared with them. No one can promise that a particular letter is read. Weverse posts are generally seen faster than posted mail, so many fans use both.
Yes. Address the envelope to the company, then write the member name clearly on the front or on a short cover note inside, for example For Jungkook. Staff use that note to route the letter to the right place.
Yes. Many ARMY write a single letter addressed to all seven. Choose "All 7 Members" in the generator to greet each of them by name in the salutation, then keep the body general enough to speak to the group.
Yes, fans from every country can post letters as long as the item follows local postal and customs rules. Use airmail, include a return address, and avoid sending anything that would be stopped at customs.
Do not send cash, gift cards, food, perishable items, original ID documents, or anything of high monetary value. These are usually refused and can create handling problems. Paper letters, cards, small drawings and printed photos are the safe options.
Yes. The free generator above creates a draft fan letter for any BTS member, for all seven together, or for the group as a whole. It also includes an emoji keyboard so you can add hearts, music notes or sparkles exactly where you want them.
No. Korean, English and Japanese letters are all accepted. Adding one short Korean line as a greeting is a warm touch, but a clear letter in your own language is always better than a machine translation you cannot check.
International letters to Seoul usually take two to six weeks depending on the origin country and the postal service used. Tracked services are faster but more expensive. Allow extra time around holidays and peak season.
This site is an independent, fan-run guide to BTS fanmail. It exists because the same handful of questions appear in every ARMY community: where do I send a letter, what do I write, will it arrive, and does anyone actually read it. Instead of scattered forum answers, everything sits in one place, written in plain language and kept current.
We explain the BTS fan mail address and BTS mailing address format, the difference between posted letters and Weverse fan posts, how to write a fan letter to BTS, and how to prepare an envelope that survives an international journey. The free fan mail generator is built to remove the blank-page problem without removing your own voice.
Every page is written and reviewed by long-time ARMY volunteers who follow BTS, HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC announcements directly. Address details are treated as time-sensitive. When official sources change, the page is updated and the revision date at the top changes with it.
Our writers have posted letters to Korea from North America, Europe, South Asia and Southeast Asia. We have tested postal routes, tracked delivery times and made the usual mistakes so you do not have to. We do not invent addresses, we do not promise replies, and we do not ask you for money.
